Visually impaired visitors

The Museum on the Vistula presents temporary exhibitions that provide a starting point for discussion, help to explore and understand the world, and often address socially engaged topics.

Audience assistants, who can always be found in the exhibition hall, are happy to talk about the works and provide tactile aids. If you would like such an individual guided tour, you can request it at the reception desk.

Guide dogs are welcome at the Museum. A bowl of water awaits them at the reception desk.

The Museum on the Vistula is equipped with a Totupoint marker to help locate the entrance.

Each exhibition at the Museum on the Vistula is accompanied by open meetings with an audio description, allowing visitors to gain deeper understanding of the works on display. It is also possible to organise additional guided tours with audio description for organised groups.

Upon prior notification (at least five days in advance), all family activities organised at the Museum may be supplemented with audio description. Requests can be sent to the following email address: muzeumdostepne@artmuseum.pl or by contacting the accessibility coordinator, Anna Zdzieborska at 577-006-290.

Audio descriptions of selected works from the Museum's collection are available on the Reading Images project website.
